The Full Form of HDD is Hard Disk Drive.  HDD is a non-volatile data storage device. Non-volatile storage or Non-volatile memory (NVM) means a type of computer memory that can retrieve stored information even after having been power cycled, in other words volatile memory needs constant power in order to retain data.
